Gutter cleaning
Gutters cleared of leaves and debris to restore proper water flow. Gutter brightening is also available.
A blocked gutter is not really a gutter problem. Water that cannot get to the downspout goes over the edge, down the wall and into the ground next to the foundation — which is the expensive version of the same afternoon's work.
Gutter cleaning includes removing leaves and debris from the gutter channels and checking the downspouts for proper flow. Debris can be blown out or collected and bagged, depending on the property and service selected.
The dark vertical streaks on the outside of gutters are commonly called tiger striping. They form when rainwater carries dirt and pollutants down the gutter face, where they bond with the oxidized surface. These marks are not included with standard gutter cleaning and require a separate service called gutter brightening.

What's included
| Cleared | Full run plus downspouts and elbows |
|---|---|
| Checked | Downspouts checked for proper flow before leaving |
| Debris, standard | Blown out of the gutter, then the surrounding areas blown clear of loose debris |
| Debris, bagged | Collected, bagged and removed from the property. Extra work, so it costs more. |
| Gutter brightening | Tiger striping on the outside face. A separate service, not part of a standard clean. |
| Typical frequency | Twice a year under trees, once a year otherwise |
